Dear Friends,

Just a short note to update you on a change of plan: 

Chester and I are going to compete at the Jersey Fresh CCI*** May 11th-15th instead of Rolex the end of April, as a finale to this spring’s competition season.  I believe the fall had a greater effect on the “team of Chester and Caroline” than I first realized.  We are working through the effect of that fall which occurred during the Red Hills Horse Trials but I think we both need more time to heal.  The competition at Morven Park last weekend helped lead me to this decision.  We made it through the competition, in fact we even got a placing, but neither of us put in the kind of performance that I have grown to expect each time we go out together. I believe that the extra two weeks will give us both more time to heal and get our “groove” back.  I also think that it won’t hurt Chester to compete at a *** event after such a long time (two years) since his last three-day event competition. So…get your maps out and redirect your plans toward The Jersey Fresh CCI***. The competition site is The Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, NJ.  I hope you will come out to cheer us on. We always do better when you are present at our competitions.
