JUMPER DERBY AT QUARTER RUN FARM

TIME: 9:00 AM
COMPETITION: A friendly competition over jumps - combining both show jumps
and cross country obstacles over a timed course - Scoring includes elements
of show jumping and cross country score keeping.
Jumping levels: Maiden trot or canter (jump height up to 18") 10-12 jumps;
Beginner Novice (up to 2'6") 12-14 jumps;
Novice (up to 3') 14-16 jumps
Training (up to 3' 3") 16 - 18 jumps
Clear round and closest to optimum time wins! Placings to 4th.

ENTRY FEE: 2 rounds for $50.00. Checks are made payable to Caroline
Dowd/Quarter Run Farm. (if you want to sign up for more rounds an open check
may be left at the secretary's table)
OTHER INFORMATION:
A current negative Coggins Test is required for each horse being entered.
A signed Sports Release form is required - Available from secretary.
An ASTM approved helmet with safety chin harness properly attached must be
worn at all times when mounted.
Please bring plenty of drinking water for yourself and your horses(s). Water will be limited.
No dogs please. If you must bring them, they must be on a leash or at your vehicle.
Prizes awarded to top four places in each division.
Management reserves the right to combine, split or cancel any classes as
needed. There must be at least two entries to hold a class.
DIRECTIONS:
From So.Pines: Rt.22 N past Pinehurst Airport about 2 miles to top of hill, take left onto McCaskill Rd. Go 7/10 of a mile, driveway on left. Just past tan house with green tin roof. Turn through stone pillars. From Carthage: Rt. 22 south, past back side of Little River Farm golf course, to top of hill. Turn right on McCaskill Rd and follow directions from above.
